Impressions – A Parisian Lady

A colorful mosaic we designed based on colors from Edward Manet’s painting Parisian Woman. This portrait of an elegant, serious woman is one of the most famous works by this precursor of Impressionism. We have always really liked the muted colors of this painting. Transferred as a random mosaic pattern on the wall or floor, they will bring harmony and calmness to the interior.

Our mosaic, composed of soft pastels and strong black accents, will work well in a modern interior. Use it in your project, and we will deliver it in any size you need

Is there a perfect color combination?

The mosaic collection Impressions is a tribute that we pay to the great painters of the 19th and 20th centuries. We have explored the shades of colors and their proportions in unforgettable paintings. And then we transferred them to our mosaics. What were the results of this experiment? Amazing! Explore all the facets of the mosaic Impressions and move into a magical world of colors straight from the canvases of the grand masters.

Claude Monet, August Renoir, Vincent van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Edward Manet or Mary Cassatt - they all created brilliant paintings. But have you ever wondered what the sources of their genius are? How did they work? What palette did they use? Why do works such as Claude Monet's Rouen Cathedral or Vincent van Gogh's La Mousmé still move so many of us today and despite the years that have passed?

We thought about this a lot at Trufle. And we decided to analyze the colors of some beautiful Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings. This is how we came up with mosaic mixes inspired by the great works. We hope that our mosaics from recycled glass cubes will also become a source of inspiration for you.
